This year, I shared with our incoming 1Ls an article by Sam Jacobsen about the technology distractions students face. They appreciated learning how the distractions interfered with short- and long-term memory storage processes.
Laptops and other devices can be extremely distracting in law school classes. The 87% figure is accurate.
